Showing Affection To Your Kids:

The dads and kids interact with each other and utilize a discussion card that deals with the importance of showing affection to our kids. It is led by Nathan Suddarth a father of 4 and the Hazel Dell Elementary All Pro Dad Captain.

Books On Board - Helping Your Kids to Read!
This workshop focusses on giving parents practical ways to engage with their children around the five components of literacy: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary development, fluency, and comprehension. This is done with the kids, but parents get a great deal out of attending this by themselves as well. It is led by the staff of the Indiana Partnerships Center, a not for profit organization that works with schools and parents throughout the state.
